The Big Ten Network has announced that the University of Minnesota softball team’s game on May 4 against Indiana will be broadcast live on national television. Game time for the contest has been moved to 2:30 p.m.
The Gophers’ (26-15, 9-5 Big Ten) game, originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. and be streamed through Gopher All-Access, marks the final regular season series of the year. The game will be the second televised game for the Gophers this season and the first at home. The Maroon & Gold fell to Northwestern, 4-2, in their only other televised game this spring.
The remainder of the Maroon & Gold’s games will be broadcast through Gopher All-Access.
Every year the BTN leaves the final weekend of conference play open for a pair of ‘wild card’ selections to be shown live.
