Weather Cancels Weekend Series with Michigan State
Erika Smyth

April 18, 2013

Games for this weekend versus Michigan State have been canceled, due to unplayable field conditions. The Twin Cities area was hit with a rare mid-April blizzard that painted the cities with 6-10 inches of snow on April 18, which has made the conditions at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium unplayable. The three-game series will likely not be rescheduled.

The Golden Gophers (26-15, 9-5 Big Ten) take the weekend off before welcoming Iowa State to JSC Stadium next Wednesday (April 24) for a doubleheader. The squad will then hop back into Big Ten competition next weekend against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.

Tickets for the ISU games can be ordered by phone (612.624.8080 | 1.800.UGOPHER) or online atwww.mygophersports.com.
