6-The Minnesota softball team lost a pair of games at North Carolina on Thursday by scores of 3-0 and 2-0 in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Gophers fall to 3-5 for the season, while North Carolina improved to 6-0. Minnesota managed five hits in the two games against the Tar Heels. The Gophers open play in the Triangle Classic on Friday against Wright State at 11 a.m.
