Minnesota softball saw 11 of its current and former student-athletes receive 2016-17 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Tuesday.

2017 • JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in 27 games at catcher, as a pinch hitter or as a pinch runner • had a perfect fielding percentage with 25 putouts • hit .154 and scored four runs • saw action as a pinch against Texas • appeared in game against Maryland as a pinch hitter • served as a pinch hitter in win over Notre Dame • saw action in the two games against North Carolina State as a pinch hitter and catcher tallying two putouts • made an appearance as catcher in game against UC Davis where she had one putout • entered into the Idaho State game as catcher and had two putouts • saw action as catcher in one game against Seattle and scored one run, notched one hit and had one putout • entered the game as catcher against Pacific and established one putout • had two putouts in one game against Nebraska • added one run, one hit one RBI and four putouts in one game against South Dakota • scored a key late game run against Northwestern in the Big Ten quarterfinals. • NFCA All-American Scholar

Saw action in 26 games primarily as a pinch runner and hitter • recorded an RBI against Utah Valley • saw action against Virginia Tech • contributed one run in the win over Mount. St. Mary's • smashed a grand slam against Jacksonville as the Gophers went on to score 20 runs, tying a school record for most runs in a game • earned two runs in win over No. 13 Oklahoma helping a comeback win effort by getting on base in the seventh inning • established a run as pinch runner against Nebraska • served as pinch runner for two games against Maryland, adding two runs.
2015 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in 27 games and started nine games at the catcher, outfield and designated player positions • hit .268 with a .348 on-base percentage and a .488 slugging percentage and scored 13 runs • made her collegiate debut Feb. 6 against Bakersfield and collected her first hit the following day against UC Davis • hit her first home run and had her first multi-hit game as a Gopher against UMass Lowell (Feb. 15) • reached base in nine of 18 leadoff opportunities • posted two three-game hit streaks, including one in NCAA regional play in games against New Mexico State and Arizona (May 15-16) • stole three bases on four attempts • had a 1.000 fielding percentage and added an outfield assist against Fordham (March 1).
