GET TO KNOW ALEX DAVIS: Why the University of Minnesota? My decision to come to Minnesota was tough because I was nervous about going away from home, but I knew I was going to love it. I knew from the moment of my visit that Minnesota is where I wanted to go.
What is it like playing for Minnesota? Playing for Minnesota is great! I'm glad to be playing Division I softball, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Putting my jersey on and stepping on the field always gives me a wonderful feeling.
Pregame rituals/superstitions? I call my dad before every game! He's my number one fan and gives me inspiration. I also put my uniform on in a certain order, and the top button of my jersey always has to be unbuttoned.
Game/Reality show you would like to be on? I want to have my own TV show with Sara Moulton! I think we would make a great show and lots of people would watch.
Favorite place to eat in Dinkytown? Five Guys because it's the closest thing around to In-N-Out.
If you could choose one person (past or present) to eat lunch with, who would it be and why? I would choose John Wooden or Derek Jeter. Those two would just make me super happy.
Favorite thing to do in the Twin Cities? Shop! I love to shop and there are so many malls in this area..it's heaven!
