Following an impressive 7-for-14 weekend at the SportCo Kick Off Classic senior Dani Wagner has been named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week, as announced the conference office Monday afternoon.
Minnesota defeated North Dakota State by scores of 7-5 and 11-5 at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium.

Lettered six years for softball at Hayfield High School and was a five-time All-Hiawatha Valley League selection • also competed for the 16U Austin Elks and 18U Mankato Peppers club teams • led area in batting average (.700), runs scored (51), stolen bases (26) and home runs (13) as a senior en route to her fourth-straight all-state season • named the 2013 Rochester Area Female Athlete of the Year • also earned four varsity letters in volleyball and basketball, garnering all-conference and all-state honors in each sport.
