The University of Minnesota athletic department and the Golden Gophers women's soccer team have announced the 2010 promotional schedule along with a reduction in ticket prices throughout the entire 2010 season.
The updated ticket prices for each women's soccer game are as follows: $5 for adults, $4 for youths and seniors, $3 for groups at the gate and $1 for groups in advance. Admission for University of Minnesota students is free with proof of a U Card.
Individual tickets can be purchased on game day at the gate, however group tickets may be ordered in advance at Gophersports.com using the promo code "GOLDY".
In addition, the Gophers will also hold numerous promotions at each of their eight home games during the 2010 season. Highlighting this year's promotions calendar will be the annual "Rock the Robbie" event with free admission to Minnesota game against Michigan on Friday, Oct. 22 and the Gophers' Homecoming matchup against Wisconsin on Thursday, Sept. 30 when one lucky fan will have a chance to win a $50,000 prize.
The Gophers will also host several charitable promotions throughout the season such as free admission for Hope Kids participants for Minnesota's game against San Diego on Sunday, Sept. 5, and a food drive supporting Second Harvest on Sept. 19 and 26. Minnesota has also partnered with the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association to provide free admission for any youth soccer players who wear their jersey to the Gophers contests against Illinois State (9/19) and Illinois (9/26).
Fans are invited to attend postgame autograph sessions with the team following all eight of the Gophers home games this season.
