Minneapolis, Minn. - The University of Minnesota soccer team will have seven home matches streamed live this season in the Gold Zone. The Gold Zone is the online destination for exclusive LIVE & on-demand streaming video & audio straight to your computer.
The season and home and opener kicks off the 2009 Golden Gopher action in the Gold Zone, as their date with South Dakota State begins at 6:00 pm on August 21. After closing August on the road, the Golden Gophers are back at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium to begin September, and back on the Gold Zone. On Sept. 6 Minnesota’s game with North Dakota State will be broadcast, beginning at 2:00 pm.
Both of their matches in the Minnesota Gold Classic will also be broadcast, as Minnesota hosts Nevada at 7:00 pm on Sept. 18, and Montana at 12:30 pm on Sept. 20.
The Gold Zone broadcast schedule closes with a trio of Big Ten matches, beginning with Iowa on Sept.14. At 7:00 pm the Golden Gophers host the Hawkeyes. The final two matches include a Oct. 18 clash with Ohio State at 1:00 pm, and an Oct. 30 contest with Northwestern at 7:00 pm.
