The University of Minnesota soccer team makes its only home appearance of the spring this Sunday when it hosts the first annual Gopher Spring Classic at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. A total of five teams will occupy both fields, with the first game beginning at 10 a.m. Admission to the event is free.

The Gopher Spring Classic will have a regional feel, with North Dakota State, South Dakota State, UW-Green Bay and Northwestern coming to town. Minnesota will take on Big Ten foe Northwestern at 10 a.m., and wraps up its spring season against NDSU at 3 p.m.
