Fall Academic All-Big Ten teams boast several Gopher Standouts
The Golden Gophers' season comes to an end after falling to No. 10/11 Penn State 3-1 on Friday.
With a win on Friday, Minnesota clinches the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament next week.
The Golden Gophers travel to face Iowa on Saturday with the match beginning at 7 p.m.
2011 SENIOR SEASON:
Appeared in two games in 2011 helped preserve the shutout in the home opener against South Dakota State (8/21) by saving the only shot on goal entered the Senior Night match against Nebraska (10/28) as a forward and tallied one shot in the 6-3 victory.
2010 JUNIOR SEASON:
Made second career appearance against Belmont (8/31), making one save in 45 minutes of action to preserve the shutout victory named to the Academic All-Big Ten team earned third letter.
2009 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Made first career appearance on Oct. 4 vs. South Dakota, playing the final 66:52 and preserving the shutout earned second letter.
2008 FRESHMAN SEASON:
Served as All-Big Ten performer Lindsey Dare's primary back-up earned first letter.
2007 REDSHIRT SEASON:
2007 graduate of Apple Valley High School where she played for coach Keith Randa All-state and all-conference selection in 2005 and '06 member of the Minnesota ODP Team in 2003 and 2005-06 regional pool player helped her club team to a runner-up finish at the State Cup in 2005 and '06 team captain of her high school team academic letterwinner honor roll student served on the student council chose Minnesota over Ohio State, Iowa, Drake, NDSU and SDSU.
Born on January 4, 1989 daughter of Randy and Mary Kay Roberts majoring in education.
