2012 JUNIOR SEASON Academic All-Big Ten Started all 20 games, playing every minute of every game (1,872 minutes) Anchored the Golden Gopher defense that gathered seven shutouts on the season Minnesota Gold Classic All-Tournament Team.
2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Started all 21 matches in 2011 only Gopher to play every minute of every game made the transition to the backline this season helped the defense post five shutouts. 2010 FRESHMAN SEASON: Appeared in 22 games with four starts tallied two assists in her first campaign with the Gophers also recorded 14 shots as a freshman, landing seven of them on goal earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 27 after tallying a pair of assists in Minnesota's Big Ten opening weekend tallied an assist on Shari Eckstrom's goal in a 1-1 tie against Iowa (9/23) and followed with an assist on Katie Bethke's lone goal two days later in a 1-0 win over No. 15/20 Illinois (9/25) recorded first career start against Wisconsin (9/30) earned first letter.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2010 graduate of Ankeny High School played for coach Chris Allen 2010 Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year three-time all-state honoree (2008-10); first-team in 2010 two-time All-Tournament team (2009-10)and 2009 All-State Elite team 2007-2010 all-conference (First team: 2008, 2009, 2010; second team: 2007) 2008 Team Offensive MVP member of the West Des Moines Extreme club team, where she played for coach Frank Gurnick five-time Iowa State Cup champions four-year member of the Regional II Olympic Development Program Team also competed in basketball and track at Ankeny all-conference in basketball in 2010 team defensive MVP 2007 State Track Meet Qualifier Iowa AAU Basketball MVP.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Todd and Robin Misel has one brother, Jacob, who played soccer at Elmhurst College lists her family as the most important people in her life plans to major in communications.
