"Josee is an exceptional soccer player, athlete, and individual. Her combination of technical skill, athleticism, intelligence, and character make her stand out as a player and a person. She is typically the best player on the field and excels at making the players around her better. She is a quiet, yet a fierce competitor that has the ability to rise up to a challenge and elevates her level of play at critical times in a match. She has a tireless work rate and her individual attacking skills and vision are second to none in high school soccer. Josee is a complete player and leader both on and off the field. Josee has provided Cedarburg High School with exceptional model of a student-athlete and we wish her the best as she becomes a Minnesota Golden Gopher."  - Trent Berg, Cedarburg High School Soccer Coach

"Soccer is a game of dreams; dreams to play at the highest college level, to play for a national team, or to play professional soccer. It takes much more than just a talent to achieve those goals. It takes skill, speed, determination, perseverance, toughness and heart. When you put all that together you get Josee Stiever! I'm really excited to be part of Josee's special talent and development in last four to five years. Besides her special talent for soccer, Josee has demonstrated great leadership on and off the field and she was a great role model for younger players in the club. I wish her all the best in the future and she'll be very much missed at NSU." - Sinisa Angelovski, North Shore United Club Soccer Coach

"Josee is the total package. She is athletic, technically proficient, and an intelligent player who consistently impacts the flow of the game. She shows a great deal of composure in the center of the midfield and her work rate on both sides of the ball will definitely be an asset to our program moving forward. We look forward to a new look in our midfield this fall." - Minnesota Head Coach Stefanie Golan
