Fall Season Ends at Head of the Iowa

Head coach Wendy Davis and Minnesota Rowing wrap up the fall portion of the schedule this weekend, as members of the Gophers' varsity and novice teams travel south to Iowa City for the Head of the Iowa regatta. Minnesota will have three entries in the Women's Novice 8+ at 11:00 a.m., four entries in the Women's Varsity 4+ at Noon, and three entries in the Women's Varsity 8+ at 2:00 p.m.

Spectators: The Minnesota Parent Tent will be located in City Park, across the river from the Sue Beckwith Boathouse, which is about 2500 m into the course. A walking path extends roughly 2000 m of the 3800 m course. The Park Road Bridge (3000 m mark) has sidewalks on both sides. The Hancher Bridge is about 500 m from the finish line. A results board and race announcing will be provided throughout the day at City Park. Wear Maroon and Gold!
