Olympic bronze medalist Megan Kalmoe will be visiting the University of Minnesota Boathouse next Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Kalmoe, a South St. Paul native, competed in the USA W4x event in London, where she claimed third place.
Kalmoe rowed for the University of Washington, but has strong ties to the University of Minnesota, as her sister, Molly Kalmoe, was the captain of last year's Golden Gopher rowing team.
The event is open to the public and will include autographs, signings, photographs, hand shakes and great company. Come out for a great night and a chance to meet a U.S. Olympian! Sodas and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
For more information visit the event on the University of Minnesota Rowing facebook page.
