High school juniors interested in rowing at the collegiate level are encouraged to attend Junior Day hosted by the University of Minnesota women's rowing program on Friday, June 29. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Golden Gopher coaching staff and current student-athletes, as well as learn about the University and the rowing program.
Interested parties will meet at TCF Bank Stadium at 12:00 p.m., where they will get a tour of the Gophers' athletic facilities and will have the opportunity to purchase a boxed lunch for $10 per person.
Following lunch, attendees will take a campus tour with the admissions office, before heading over to the University of Minnesota Boathouse at 2:30 p.m. for a viewing of the facility and a meet and greet with coaches and student-athletes.
The day will conclude at 3:30 p.m. with a closing presentation.
Interested juniors should RSVP to Andy Foltz at firstname.lastname@example.org by June 20th. Parking information and directions to each stop will be emailed to those who RSVP by the deadline.
