The University of Minnesota women's rowing team is set to hit the road for a dual regatta at Tennessee Sunday in the early morning on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The Gophers' varsity team will compete in the regatta and looks to build upon its success in its season-opening event, the Oklahoma Invite. Minnesota totaled 15 wins on the Oklahoma River against teams from host Oklahoma, Kansas State, Kansas and Tulsa.
For their performance at the OU Invite, the Gophers' First Varsity Eight was named the Big Ten Boat of the Week.
