The Gophers' 1V8 has been named Big Ten Boat of the Week twice this season.

2011-12 • Junior Season: CRCA National Scholar Athlete ... Academic All-Big Ten honoree ... Served as the coxswain for the First Varsity Eight for the majority of the season ... Defeated Kansas, Buffalo and Duke with 2V8 and 1V8 at the Oak Ridge Invitational (3/17-18) ... Defeated Indiana at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/7) ... Competed in the Virginia Invitational (4/14-15) ... Raced against Wisconsin in the Home Dual vs. the Badgers (4/29) ... placed fifth at the Big Ten Championships (5/13).

2010-11 • Sophomore Season: Served as the coxswain for the Second Varsity Four throughout the season ... placed fifth at the Big Ten Championships (5/15) ... rowed against the Badgers at the Wisconsin Dual (5/1) ... competed against Michigan and Michigan State at the Big Ten Double Duals (4/9) ... went head-to-head vs. Tennessee at the Tennessee Dual (3/20).

2009-10 • Freshman Season: Competed in her first Big Ten Championships as the coxswain of the First Novice Eight boat (5/1) ... member of the 1N8 that raced against Kansas (4/24) ... raced with the 1N8 that split action at the Double Duals (4/10) ... with the Minnesota B boat, won the Collegiate Novice B Final at the San Diego Crew Classic (3/28) ... competed at the Head of the Iowa (10/25).

Previous Rowing Experience: Rowed with the Twin Cities Youth Rowing for two years.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Cretin Derham Hall ... played soccer and softball ... was the salutatorian and National Merit finalist ... was a member of the softball city champions in 2007 and the soccer league champions in 2008 and 2009 ... also participated in the math team, student council, band and lettered in all as well as academics ... National Honor Society member.
