Gophers Conclude Competition at San Diego Crew Classic

The 1N8 competed for the Laurel V. Korholz Perpetual Trophy.

2014-15 • Junior Season: Academic All-Big Ten ... lead the 3V8 at the Head of the Mississippi (10/5) ... lead the 3V8 at the Head of the Rock (10/12)

2013-14 • Sophomore Season:
Defeated Alabama and Louisville in the 3V4 at the Oak Ridge Invite (3/15-16) ... finished second behind Michigan in the 3V4 at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/12) ... placed second behind Wisconsin in the 1N4 in the lone home dual of the year on Lake Phalen (5/4)

2012-13 • Freshman Season: Raced at the Oklahoma Invite as 2n8 against Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State, and Tulsa (3/9-3/10) ... Raced at the San Diego Crew Classic in the 1n8 boat against Washington, California, UCLA, Virginia, and Kansas State (4/7)... Raced at Wisconsin in the 2n8 boat (5/5)... Competed at Big Ten Championships (5/19).

High School:2012 graduate of Shakopee High School...earned five varsity letters in golf and four in speech...named all-conference honorable mention in golf during 2011 season...named all-conference honorable mention in speech in 2010, section champion in 2012, and was a state participant in 2010 and 2012. Breanna graduated with high-honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:Born May 4th, 1994...daughter of Calvin and Esther Van Eyck...majoring in genetics, cell biology & development, with a minor in Spanish...enjoys spending her free time playing guitar and relaxing with her family.

Minnesota rowers finish up their fall season this Saturday at the Devil’s Head Scrimmage in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Gophers Finish 20th at Head of the Charles


Competing in the world's largest two-day regatta, the Minnesota rowing team earned a top-20 finish at the 51st Head of the Charles.

The University of Minnesota rowing team is heading to their biggest competition of the fall as they travel to Boston, Mass. to race in the Head of the Charles.
