MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota women's hockey team will host its media day Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Ridder Arena Club Room. Head coach Brad Frost and select women's hockey players will be available to the media.
The press conference will begin at 1:15 p.m., following the Gopher football weekly press conference.

Frost and select players will speak to the media and take questions. Additional players will be available after the press conference and before the team's practice, which begins at 3:00 p.m. Practice will be open to the media.
Gophersports.com will provide a complete recap of media day, including video footage. The event will not be streamed live.
The two-time defending national champion Gophers have their first official practice of the season on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.
Minnesota hosts two exhibition games against Team Japan and the University of British Columbia at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27, respectively. Admission is free to both games. The Gophers open the 2013-14 campaign on the road at Colgate Oct. 4-5 before hosting Wisconsin in their home-opening series Oct. 11-12.
