MINNEAPOLIS - The game times are set for the University of Minnesota women's hockey team's series at Wisconsin in February 2014. The puck will drop Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.
The Gophers previously announced their 2013-14 schedule, which opens with exhibition games against Team Japan and British Columbia. The season-opening series is at Colgate Oct. 4-5, and Minnesota hosts Wisconsin in its home-opening series the following weekend, Oct. 11-12.
Minnesota enters the 2013-14 season looking to defend their back-to-back national championship titles and continue the program's NCAA-record 49-game winning streak during the upcoming season.
Last season, the Gophers swept Wisconsin in two series, defeating the Badgers 4-1 and 2-0 at home Dec. 1-2 before skating to 2-0 and 5-1 victories in Madison, Jan. 25 and 27.
