Despite falling short of an NCAA three-peat, the Gophers enjoyed a highly successful and exciting 2013-14 campaign, which included the program's sixth WCHA Final Face-off title and eighth WCHA regular season title, the program's first-ever outdoor game in the Hockey City Classic at TCF Bank Stadium and the program's 10th NCAA Frozen Four appearance. #4: Gophers Clinch WCHA Title at Wisconsin
The Gophers clinched their eighth overall and second consecutive WCHA regular-season title on Feb. 14, 2014 with a 3-2 win on the road at Wisconsin. Freshman Dani Cameranesi broke a 2-2 tie when she scored the game-winning goal with 9:02 remaining in the third period.
Wisconsin took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission, but junior Rachael Bona tied the game at 1-1 in the second period. Sophomore Milica McMillen then gave the Gophers the 2-1 lead early in the third period, but the Badgers responded. However, Cameranesi and the Gophers regained the lead and held on for their 29th victory of the season.

Gophers Drop Game Two of Border Battle
Minnesota and Wisconsin settled for a series split in this weekend's WCHA series in Madison, Wis.
