The WCHA has announced that Minnesota’s Monique Lamoureux and Wisconsin’s Erika Lawler are this week’s co-offensive players of the week.It is Lamoureux's sixth weekly conference honor this season.
Monique Lamoureux scored six goals including both game-winners and added two assists for eight points in the Golden Gophers’ road series sweep over WCHA-rival Minnesota State. She scored two goals and added in an assist in last Friday’s 9-1 victory over the Mavericks and followed up with a four-goal, five-point performance in last Saturday’s 7-4 victory. She notched her fourth shorthanded goal of the season, followed with a power-play goal in the first period and completed the hat trick in the second. She added an empty net goal in the final second.
Wisconsin’s Lawler shares the honor with Lamoureux. In helping the Badgers to a series sweep over Ohio State, Lawler tallied a career-high seven points, including four assists in one game.
