Both teams were held scoreless through nearly 15 minutes of play in the second period before the Gophers got a goal from senior Nikki Ludwigson 14 minutes and 26 seconds into the period. The goal was Ludwigson's first this season. Kelly Terry and junior Mira Jalosuo had assists on the goal.
