2013-14 • Sophomore Season: Recorded 13 points (3g-10a) in 33 games • missed the first six games due to injury • primarily played at the blue line but saw limited action at forward as well • assisted Meghan Lorence's game-winning goal in 4-0 win at Bemidji State (Oct. 25) • recorded an assist in 4-3 win at Bemidji State (Oct. 26) • scored two goals in home-and-home series sweep of Minnesota State (Nov. 1-2) • had five points (2g-3a) during a five-game point streak (Oct. 25-Nov. 8) • had a career game-high two assists, including helpers on the game-winners, in 5-1 win at Yale (Nov. 23) and 9-2 win at Ohio State (Dec. 7) • tied career-best with two assists in series sweep over Princeton (Nov. 30-Dec. 1) • picked up an assist in 3-0 win over St. Cloud State (Jan. 24).
2012-13 • Freshman Season: Skated in 37 games • had six points (2g-4a) • posted a plus/minus ratio of +16 • tallied her first point by assisting Becky Kortum in the season opener against Colgate (Sept. 28) • assisted Jordyn Burns in the series finale against Colgate (Sept. 29) • netted first career goal in 5-1 win over North Dakota (Oct. 27) • had an assist in the shutout win over Minnesota State (Jan. 19) • recorded a goal against Bemidji State in series finale of the WCHA First Round (March 2) • tallied an assist in the 5-0 win over Ohio State (March 8) in the semifinals of the WCHA Final Face-Off.
High School/Club: Attended Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault, Minn. • played at both forward and defense during her high school career • served as a team captain in her senior season and led her team to third place at the USA Under-19 national tournament • as a team captain in her junior season, she led Shattuck-St. Mary's to a 46-7-2 record and the 2011 USA Under-19 national title • scored 18 goals and 20 assists for 38 points as a junior • as a sophomore in 2009-10, her team won the USA Under-16 national title, becoming the school's first Under-16 team to win a national championship • Shattuck-St. Mary's was 47-7-6 in 2009-10, while Garzone scored 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points • played with the Tulsa Flames and Jenks Varsity in her home state of Oklahoma • participated in four USA Hockey development camps • also competed in golf at Shattuck-St. Mary's and was a member of the lacrosse team in 2009-10.
