The University of Minnesota women’s gymnastics team enters the season ranked No. 27 in the NACGC/W Preseason Poll and No. 6 in the Big Ten Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

Hannah Hitchcock and Lexy Ramler were each selected to the Big Ten Women’s Gymnasts to Watch List. Hitchock is going into her senior season and has competed on vault and bars in her Gophers career. She scored a personal best 9.875 at the Big Ten Championships last season. Ramler, St. Michael, Minn. native, is going into her freshman season. She is a three-time P&G Championships qualifier and was the Junior Olympic national beam champion in 2017.

You can see the Gophers in action at the Maturi Pavalion on Jan. 6 for their annual Intrasquad Meet. Regular season competition opens up on Jan. 13 when they host Maryland, Northern Illinois and Winona State for a quad-meet.
