The Top 10.0 Things You Need to Know...

1.0 - No. 12 Minnesota (12-0, 4-0 Big Ten) hits the road for a pair of meets in the state of Iowa, facing the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City on Friday, Feb. 22, at 7:00 p.m., before traveling to Ames for a second meeting this season with the Iowa State Cyclones. That meet is set for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

2.0 - Minnesota (12-0) is off to the best start in the program's history, and joins No. 2 Oklahoma as the only remaining undefeated teams among the GymInfo Top 25..

3.0 - Minnesota's women's gymnastics and women's hockey (32-0-0) teams have combined for 44 wins with no losses and no ties so far this season.

4.0 - The Gophers won their third quad meet this season on Saturday, scoring 196.000 points to outdistance Minnesota's three other collegiate women's gymnastics programs in the annual Best of Minnesota meet. Minnesota gymnasts captured the top six places on three of four events.

5.0 - Freshman Lindsay Mable has won the all-around at three meets, with a season-high total of 39.450 points. Mable has scored better than 39.300 in each of the three all-around titles she's won, and was honored as Big Ten Freshman of the Week this week for the third time this season.

6.0 - Junior Kayla Slechta is tied for 12th nationally on vault with an average score of 9.896. Slechta just missed a perfect score on vault against Washington on Jan. 12, receiving a 10.0 from the head judge, but getting a 9.900 from the second judge for a score of 9.950. She added a 9.925 on vault at Penn State, had another 9.950 on Jan. 26, and scored a 9.925 on Saturday.

7.0 - Slechta's 9.950 vault scores are her career-bests, and are tied for third in program history. Carolyn Yernberg and Courtney Norman each recorded perfect 10.0's on the same day at UCLA on March 3, 2002, while Yernberg also scored a 9.950 at Arizona State on March 12, 2004.

8.0 - Sophomore Kylie Schermann recorded a career-best of 9.925 on floor versus Illinois to tie for first, and finished second to Mable's 9.925 with a 9.900 on Saturday at the Best of Minnesota. Schermann's average score of 9.871 ties for 20th nationally, while Slechta (9.863) is tied for 28th.

9.0 - Minnesota is ranked eighth nationally on floor exercise with an average total of 49.117, while ranking 10th on beam (48.904), 12th on vault (49.142), and 30th on bars (48.667).

10.0 - Dating back to 2012, Minnesota had scored 49.000 or better on floor exercise in 12 consecutive meets and on vault for 11 straight meets before falling short of those totals during the win at MSU. The Gophers responded with all four scores better than 49.000 versus Illinois, and exceeded 49.000 on all but bars at the Best of Minnesota.
