1.0 - Minnesota plays host to the first of three home quad meets this season, as it welcomes No. 1 Michigan, No. 20 Central Michigan, and Iowa State to the Sports Pavilion for a 6:00 p.m. CT meet on Saturday, Jan. 26.
2.0 - The Gophers are 12th in this week's GymInfo Top 25 Rankings after winning a quad meet on Saturday at Penn State with a team total of 195.525 points.
3.0 - Freshman Lindsay Mable won the all-around with a total of 39.325 points and tied with sophomore Kylie Schermann for first on floor exercise with a 9.875. For her outstanding effort, Mable was named this week's Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
4.0 - Junior Kayla Slechta is tied for first nationally on vault with an average score of 9.938 through the first two meets. Slechta just missed a perfect score on vault against Washington on Jan. 12, receiving a 10.0 from the head judge, but getting a 9.900 from the second judge for a score of 9.950. She followed with a 9.925 on vault at Penn State. In addition, freshman Hanna Nordquist is tied for 20th on balance beam with an average of 9.850.
5.0 - Slechta's 9.950 vault score is her career-best, and it's tied for third in program history. Carolyn Yernberg and Courtney Norman each recorded perfect 10.0's on the same day at UCLA on March 3, 2002, while Yernberg also scored a 9.950 at Arizona State on March 12, 2004.
6.0 - Sophomore Jenny Covers recorded career-best scores on all four events at Penn State to finish with a personal-best total of 39.250 and capture second in the all-around behind Mable. Covers finished second on vault (9.875), tied for third on floor (9.850), tied for eighth on bars (9.775) and tied for 11th on beam (9.750).
7.0 - The Gophers (4-0) are off to their best start since the 2006 team opened that season with a record of 5-1. That team won three dual meets before finishing second at the University of New Hampshire's Fox Run Invitational
8.0 - As a team, Minnesota is ranked sixth nationally on vault with an average total of 49.250, and is seventh on floor exercise with an average of 49.125. The Gophers are tied for 21st on beam (48.650) and are 31st on bars (48.513) after having to count a fall at Penn State.
9.0 - Dating back to last season, Minnesota has scored 49.000 or better on floor exercise in 11 consecutive meets and on vault for the past 10 meets.
10.0 - Schermann has had career-high scores on two events in the first two weeks. She opened the season with a 9.900 on vault versus Washington, and she tied Mable for first on floor with a 9.875 at Penn State. Senior Shannon Golich just missed tying her career-high of 9.900 on beam at Penn State, as she finished second with a score of 9.875.
