2015 • Senior Season: Appeared in thirteen of fourteen season meets competing in vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, and all-around • placed first in vault (9.850), third on the uneven bars (9.825), and tied for second on floor exercise (9.825) at the meet vs. Iowa State (1/11) • finished second on vault tallying 9.850 at Maryland (1/15) • scored a 9.875 on vault earning a third place finish vs. Oklahoma (1/17) • at Michigan State (1/24), earned a 9.825 on uneven bars tying teammate Lyndsey Mable for fourth place • finished third on vault with a 9.775, tied for second on the uneven bars with a score of 9.800, and placed second (39.150) in the All-Around against Ohio State (1/31) • at the Illinois meet, placed second on vault tallying 9.875, tied for third on the balance beam (9.850) and placed third in the all-around (39.175) • tied for third on vault (9.850) and uneven bars (9.775) at Iowa State (2/20) • tallied a team high 9.850 on vault at LSU (3/6) • placed fourth on vault scoring 9.925 and tied for first on uneven bars with a 9.925 surpassing a previous season high score at the Big Ten Qualifier (3/14) • tied for fifth on uneven bars scoring 9.900 at the Big Ten Championships (3/21).
2014 • Junior Season: Competed in 13 of the team's 14 meets and performed on vault and uneven parallel bars in each appearance • competed in the all around five times, establishing a career-best score of 39.250 that included a career-high 9.875 on the floor exercise at the Big Ten Championships (March 22) • notched the highest balance beam score of her career with a 9.800 against Iowa State (March 1) and tied it two weeks later at the Big Ten Quad (March 15) • tied her career-high score of 9.825 on the uneven bars three times and won the event with that score Jan. 25 versus Illinois • registered a season-high score of 9.900 on the vault three times, including Jan. 13 at Washington to win the event.
2013 • Sophomore Season: Competed in all 14 meets for the season • earned Most Improved Award • saw career-best score on floor (9.850) and all around (39.250) against Penn State, Kent State, and Towson (Jan. 19) • captured all-around title (39.950) against Iowa State (2/24) • finished floor tied for 24 (9.800) at Big Ten Championships • finished in five-way tie for first on vault with score of 9.950 at NCAA Qualifier • co-champion on vault at the Gainseville Regional with career-high score of 9.950.
2012 • Freshman Season: Served as a vault and uneven bars specialist with vaulting in every meet • claimed two vault titles • made her first career appearance against Ohio State (Jan. 7) with a 9.800 on vault and 9.450 on bars • claimed first in vault with a 9.800 at Best of Minnesota (Feb. 11) • notched a 9.675 on bars, which was her best score of the year, at Iowa (Feb. 24) • recorded a personal-best vault score of 9.875 at Arkansas (March 2) • tied for first on vault with a 9.850 against Iowa State (3/10) • helped the Gophers notch a team-high score of 49.300 on vault at the Big Ten Championships (3/24) • scored a 9.850 or better in four of the last five meets • received her first letter.
High School/Club: A 2011 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School • competed for her high school gymnastics team and also trained at Crystal Lake Gymnastics • 2010 Illinois state champion on vault and floor, also grabbed third in the all around at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) state meet • at the Junior Olympic Regional meet, she was the runner-up on vault and placed seventh on bars • did not qualify to the national meet after having limited time to prepare for regionals due to an injury • at the J.O. State Championship in 2010, she was the runner-up on vault, placed fourth on bars, and was seventh in the all around • placed second on vault at 2010 J.O. Ragionals • in 2009, she was the IHSA all-around and vault champion, while coming in second on bars and floor.
Personal: Majored in communications • four-time letterwinner as a member of her high school gymnastics team • also lettered in cheerleading • competed in club volleyball as well • the daughter of Bill and Kathy Covers • has a younger brother, Brett.
