GeThe University of Minnesota women's golf team is in 21st place after two rounds of the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C. The Gophers shot rounds of 311-309=620 (+44) to trail co-leaders Georgia and Furman by 37 shots going into the final round tomorrow at the par 72, 5,984-yard Furman University Golf Club.

Individually, the Gophers were led by senior Terra Petsinger. Petsinger is tied for 53rd at 152 (+8), after carding a second round 74, the best round by a Gopher thus far in the tournament. Sophomore Samantha Braschler is tied for 75th at 155 (+11) one shot ahead of teammate junior Sarah Butler, who has fired a pair of 78s. Sophomore Sophie Stubbs is tied for 83rd at 157 and freshman Katie Berns is tied for 109th at 163.
