The University of Minnesota women's golf team is in 13th place after two rounds of the Georgia State Pelican Preserve Invitational in Fort Meyers, Fla. The Golden Gophers fired rounds of 313-305=618 and trail tournament leader Louisville by 34 shots.
Individually, Minnesota has three golfers tied for 44th at 9-over-par. Junior Kelli Berns carded rounds of 76-77 for a 153 total. She is tied with teammates Christine Herzog (78-75) and Sydney Liles (79-74). Sophmore Young Na Lee is tied for 75th at 19-over 163 and freshman Leslie Grabeman is tied for 78th at 20-over 164.
The final round is tomorrow.
