The University of Minnesota women's golf team moved up into a tie for 11th at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C. The Golden Gophers fired a second round 315 for a two-round total of 68-over 644, 39 shots behind tournament leader Northwestern.

The Gophers were led today by junior Kelli Berns who carded a second round 76 and moved up into a tie for 18th at 11-over 155. Sophomore Young Na Lee fired a 77 in round two and is tied for 64th at 21-over 165. Freshman Christine Herzog also posted a sub-80 round on Saturday with a 79 and she is tied for 45th at 17-over 161. Sydney Liles is tied for 58th at 163 after an 83 today and junior Emily Brand is 89th at 180.

The final round is tomorrow at the par 72, 6,103-yard Furman University Golf Course.
