shThe University of Minnesota women's golf team is in 12th place after two rounds of the Lady Northern in Bloomington, Ind. The Gophers shot rounds of 313-310=623 and trail first place Purdue by 49 shots.

Individually, the Gophers were led by junior Samantha Braschler. Braschler fired rounds of 78-75 and is tied for 26th at 8-over 152. Senior Sarah Butler and freshman Suvi Mantiyiemi both carded 78s in each round Saturday and are tied for 44th at 12-over-par. Senior Lindsey Somrock and junior Sophie Stubbs are tied for 65th at 18-over 162. Freshman Young Na Lee is 75th at 28-over 172.

The final round is tomorrow at the par 72, 6,142-yard Indiana University Golf Course.
