The University of Minnesota women's golf team is in 11th place after three rounds of the Big Ten Championship in East Lansing, Mich. The Gophers shot a round of 320 Saturday and trail tournament leader Michigan State by xx shots. The final round is tomorrow at the par 72, 6,316-yard Forest Akers West Golf Course.
Minnesota was led by sophmore Young Na Lee. Lee fired a third round 77 and now stands in a tie for 27th place at 22-over 238. Juniors Kelli Berns and Emily Brand are tie for 40th at 26-over 242. Berns carded an 83 today, Brand an 81. Freshman Christine Herzog shot her best round of the tournament, an 80 and is tied for 57th at 35-over 251. Senior Samantha Braschler carded a third-round 82 and is tied for 59th at 36-over 252 and freshman Leslie Grabeman si 66th at 48-over 264.
