The University of Minnesota men’s and women’s golf programs will host the second annual “Golf with Goldy” event at the Les Bolstad University Golf Course driving range on Saturday, May 10th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Les Bolstad University of Minnesota Driving Range is located at 2275 Larpenteur Avenue West in St. Paul.

The event will start with a brief clinic followed by tips and instruction from members of the Gopher men’s and women’s golf teams, coaches, and Golf Institute instructors.  Kids should bring their own clubs; a limited number of clubs will be available for use free of charge during the clinic. 

There will be free food, drinks, contests, and prizes. Autographs and pictures with student-athletes and Goldy Gopher will also be available.

“Golf with Goldy” seeks to introduce kids in the Twin Cities to the game of golf, the Les Bolstad University Golf Course, and the men’s and women’s Golden Gopher golf programs.
