leaThe University of Minnesota women's golf team is in 13th place after rounds of 325-317=642 at the Lady Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind. The Gophers are 45 shots behind tournament leader Northwestern going into tomorrow's final round at the par 72, 6,025-yard Kampen/Purdue Golf Club.

The Gophers were led by senior Terra Petsinger. Petsinger fired rounds of 74- 78=152 and is tied for 16th place at 8-over-par. Sophomore Samantha Braschler is tied for 44th at 158 after a 76 in round two. Freshman Emily Brand is tied for 64th at 165, two shots ahead of teammate Jessica Thomas who is tied for 67th. Sophomore Sophie Stubbs is tied for 69th at 169. Junior Sarah Butler playing her first tournament of the Spring is 73rd at 174. Butler is coming back after breaking her ankle in February.
