trThe University of Minnesota women's golf team is tied for 13th place after the second round of the BU-Tapatio Shootout in Boerne, Texas. The Golden Gophers improved to a 311 in the second round and trail tournament leader Indiana by 49 shots. The tournament is being played at the par 72, 5,185-yard Tapatio Springs Resort.

Individually, the Gophers were led by sophomore Sarah Butler who carded a 77 in round two and is tied for 27th at 156 with teammate Sophie Stubbs, who shot her second 78 of the tournament on Saturday. Junior Terra Petsinger is tied for 47th after firing a 77. Senior Katie Jacobson was the fourth Gopher to break 80 with a 79 in the second round. She is tied for 94th. Sophomore Jessica Thomas is 109th after carding an 85.
