whicHeavy precipitation has forced the cancellation of the first round of play at the 19th annual Snowbird Intercollegiate golf tournament in Tampa, FL. The tournament will now be an 18-hole event, which is scheduled to get underway Friday, March 18 at 8 a.m.

The Snowbird Intercollegiate is a 16-team event hosted by Northern Illinois University at the par-72, 5,940-yard Pebblecreek Golf and Country Club.
