scorThe University of Minnesota women's golf team was rained out in the second day of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational in Winter Springs, Fla. The Gophers finish the tournament in eighth place with a score of 324.

Junior Cindy Cannon led the way for Minnesota with a seven-over par 79 in the tournament's only round. Kent State's Martha Gillen and Michigan State's Stacy Snider tied for tournament medalist honors with rounds of even par.
