After several weeks off, the Minnesota women’s golf team continues its spring season this week, traveling to Northern California for the 2018 Meadow Club Women’s Collegiate.
The tournament, hosted by San Jose State University and the University of San Francisco, will feature 16 teams battling over two days. Joining the two hosts and the Gophers in the field are fellow Big Ten institutions Illinois and Michigan. Rounding out the field are Boston College, Brigham Young, California, Cal Poly, UC Davis, Colorado, Gonzaga, Idaho, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State.
Monday’s action at the 6,157-yard, par-72 course will consist of two 18-hole rounds, beginning with an 8:15 a.m. PT shotgun start. The tournament is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday with a 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.
Minnesota’s lineup will be comprised of senior Sabrine Garrison, junior Muyu Wu, freshman Grace Kellar, freshman Kate Lillie, and freshman Joanne Free. Junior Maggie Heggerston will be competing individually.
