Minnesota was led by sophomore Sophie Stubbs who fired a 2-over 73 and is tied for third place. Senior Terra Petsinger is tied for 17th after a 77 in round one. Sophomore Samantha Braschler is tied for 25th after carding a 78. Junior Jessica Thomas fired a 79 and is tied for 31st. Freshman Emily Brand is one shot behind Thomas after an 80 in 40th place. Sophomore Lindsay Somrock is tied for 77th after an 85.

The second round is tomorrow on the par 71, 6074-yard White Wing Golf Course.
