GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team finds itself in 10th place after the first day of the Hoosier Fall Invitational at Hickory Stick Golf Club, 11 strokes off Purdue for the team lead.
Saturday's competition was halted due to darkness before several teams had a chance to complete the second round.
Carmen Laguna is pacing the Gophers through the first round with a 72, putting the Gopher at +1 -- tied for second and five shots off the lead.
According to Indiana officials, the second round will continue Sunday morning with the third and final round to follow.

The Woodbury course will host a 15-team championship field in September next season.
