With weather conditions significantly improved to start the day at Olympic Hills Golf Club Monday, the Gophers’ top performance came from freshman Joanne Free, who is tied for 37th at 6-over-par (74-76—150). Classmate Grace Kellar (74-81—155) is tied for 47th place, while fellow freshman Lillie is among a tie for 52nd (80-77—157). One stroke behind her is junior Muyu Wu (79-79—158), with senior Sabrine Garrison 60th (85-77—162).
The conclusion of the round was delayed by lightning in the area, with an 84-minute halt to play before the final eight groups were able to finish.
Arkansas continued to hold the team lead at 6-under-par 570, with the Gophers 12th at 40-over-par (307-309—616). Furman’s Natalie Srinivasan is atop the individual leaderboard at 6-under-par (70-68—138).
The final round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate will begin with 9:00 a.m. tee times on Tuesday morning.
