Wu is three strokes under par (72-69—141), one of two players tied for 13th. Two strokes back are a pair of freshmen, Grace Kellar (71-73—144) and Kate Lillie (73-71—144), who are among a tie for 25th place at even par.
Three Gophers are competing individually, led by redshirt freshman Christine Portillo who is tied for 66th (79-73—152). Freshman Jessica Lee is tied for 71st (77-77—154) while junior Maggie Heggerston is tied for 75th (80-75—155).
Michigan State holds the team lead after two rounds at 19-under-par, with the Spartans’ Paz Marta Sans atop the leaderboard at nine-under-par, including a tournament and course record 64 in the opening round.
The Minnesota Invitational concludes Tuesday with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start.
