Day 1 Results/Day 2 Tee Time 
After one day of competition at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., the Golden Gophers are in sixth place. They posted a season-low team score of 293 (+6), one stroke lower than their previous low set in the final round of the Central District Invitational. Three Minnesota players are in the top 25 individually.
Carmen Laguna shot a career-low 70 (-2) with four birdies and two bogeys. She is tied for sixth individually, entering tomorrow's round four shots back of the lead. Anna Laorr (t-18th) tied her season best with a score of 73 (+1). Banchalee Theinthong (t-23rd) was close behind at 74 after birdying two of her last three holes. Jackie Shepherd (t-35th) posted a 4-over 76. Sarinee Thitiratanakorn (t-52nd) shot a 79, finishing with an eagle on her last hole.
Colorado, the only team to finish the round under par, leads the event with a score of 277 (-11). The Buffaloes' Emily Talley led all individuals with a 66 today.
The Clover Cup tournament runs through Sunday, with one round each day. Live results will be available at golfstat.com.
