The Pam Borton Radio Show can be heard Monday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Stadium Village Applebee's on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Hosted by the Golden Gopher women's basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist, the show can be heard live on 1500 ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to join Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist at Applebee's to catch the show live, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a great atmosphere with their fellow Gopher faithful.
On tonight's show, the trio will take a look back at the Subway Classic and the Gophers' win over Oakland, and will also look ahead to Minnesota's Big Ten opener against Michigan State which is slated for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Arena.
Redshirt freshman Amanda Zahui B. will be the player guest on tonight's show. The center from Stockholm, Sweden, has quickly made a name for herself on the conference and national scenes in her rookie campaign, as she has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week twice and Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times, while also ranking in the top-30 nationally in four seperate categories.
