The Pam Borton Radio Show can be heard Monday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Stadium Village Applebee's on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Hosted by the Golden Gopher women's basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist, the show can be heard live on 1500 ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to join Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist at Applebee's to catch the show live, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a great atmosphere with their fellow Gopher faithful.
On tonight's show, the trio will look ahead to the Gophers' home game vs. Northern Iowa on Friday, Dec. 21, which will be a rematch of last year's WBI Championship Game.
Senior Katie Loberg will be the player guest on tonight's show. The forward from Princeton, Minn., leads Minnesota with 15 blocked shots, while also ranking seventh in the Big Ten with a 1.5 blocks per game average. Loberg is also averaging 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game for the Maroon and Gold this season in 10 games played.
