If you were able to catch the Minnesota/Washington State game on BTN.com Saturday afternoon, you may have heard a familiar voice.
Gopher women's basketball alum Jackie Voigt partnered up with the Big Ten Network Student U to serve as the analyst for the first game of the Best Buy Classic.
Voigt was a starter for the Gophers from 2008-12. Proving her all-around athletic skills, Voigt joined Minnesota's women's soccer team at the conclusion of her basketball career. She has played sports forever, and now it's time to talk about them.
Voigt has had some experience in the broadcasting field, as she interned with WCCO-TV during the summer of 2011, working specifically with their sports producers and anchors. Earning a minor in communication studies, broadcasting is something that has always been an interest of hers.
With the Gopher's 87-83 double overtime victory over Washington State, Voigt definitely got her fair share of airtime and did a great job!
