The Golden Gopher Women's Basketball Hoops Scramble XI gets underway today at Oak Marsh Golf Course in Oakville, Minn. The event is the Fast Break Club's biggest annual fundraising event and supports the University of Minnesota women's basketball program.
Head coach Pam Bortonand her staff, as well as select players, will be on hand for the event, which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, dinner, a program and an auction.
There is also an option available for fans that would prefer to forego the golfing and attend only the dinner, program and auction for a discounted rate.
The golf scramble is set to begin at 12:00 p.m., with dinner to follow at approximately 5:30 p.m. A silent auction will begin at 11:00 a.m., while a live auction is set to correlate with the start of dinner.
