• The University of Minnesota women's basketball team hosts #7/7 Penn State for Senior Night on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 8:00 p.m.
• The game will be televised live on BTN with Eric Collins and Debbie Antonelli on the call.
• Fans can also listen to the contest live on KBEM Jazz 88.5 FM or for free through Stetch Internet on Gophersports.com, with Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist on the call.
 • Minnesota enters the contest with a 16-12 overall record and a 5-9 league mark after splitting a pair of league contests last week at Ohio State and vs. #22/21 Purdue.
• Penn State has already clinched at least a share of the 2013 Big Ten regular-season title with its 13-1 league record and 23-3 overall mark.
• Minnesota and Penn State will be meeting on the hardwood for the 38th time, with the Lady Lions leading the all-time series, 26-11.
• The Gophers are 8-9 when facing Penn State in Minneapolis, winning seven of its last eight games against the Lady Lions at Williams Arena.
• Twelve of Minnesota's 16 victories this season have come at the friendly confines of Williams Arena.
• In Minnesota's last five home games Rachel Banham has scored an average of 28.6 points per game.
• The Gophers boast an impressive .446 field goal percentage, which not only leads the Big Ten, but also ranks 15th nationally.
Rachel Banham has scored in double-figures in 27 of the Gophers' 28 games this season and 60 of her 64 career games played.
• With her 60 career games in double-figures, Banham  is now tied with Ellen Kramer for the No. 4 spot on Minnesota's career register.
• The guard sits atop Minnesota's single-season record chart with her .897 free throw percentage, while ranking fifth with 593 points and 475 field goal attempts. Banham also sits at sixth with her 21.2 points per game average.
• Micaella Riche has improved her scoring average by 7.0 points per game and her rebounding average by 3.1 boards per game from her sophomore season.
