The Pam Borton Radio Show can be heard Monday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Stadium Village Applebee's on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Hosted by the Golden Gopher women's basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist, the show can be heard live on 1500 ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to join Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist at Applebee's to catch the show live, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a great atmosphere with their fellow Gopher faithful.
On tonight's show, the trio will take a look back at the Gophers' back-to-back wins at Wisconsin and at Northwestern last week, Minnesota's four-game winning streak and Borton's 300th career win secured Saturday against the Wildcats. They will also look ahead to the Maroon and Gold's home contest against No. 21 Purdue Thursday and its road contest at No. 23 Michigan State on Monday, Feb. 24.
Mikayla Bailey will be the player guest on tonight's show. The sophomore from Maple Grove, Minn., moved into the starting lineup for Saturday's win over Northwestern, where she dished out a career-high 10 assists. It was the first time a Gopher tallied 10 or more assists since 2010. Bailey also had a career outing at Michigan, where she posted career-bests with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, which included four three-pointers.
